Once a month the Dads of Kardy Connect will be mowing local lawns for free. Pop your name down for a free Kardy cut.
Streets Alive!
We've received a $5,000 grant to work with the Kardy community and the City of Melville to make it easier to walk and ride around Kardinya.
Come on Kardy, let's go Barby.
Got some ideas on how we can make Kardy better? Come along to our next Kardy Barby on Sat 23 November.
Our vision
Stay, play, socialise.
Great places have a palpable sense of community. Local people know and help their neighbours. They contribute and feel empowered to effect change.
So that’s our goal. Make it fun and easy for local people to connect and contribute. One small action at a time.
What's a Town Team?
Kardy Connect is proud to be one of over 150 Town Teams in Western Australia. We’re part of a positive movement of citizen-led actions focused on creating more vibrant and liveable communities.
All Town Teams are independent but adhere to the same guiding principles:
- Be positive and proactive;
- Apolitical and independent;
- Inclusive;
- Resilient and sustainable; and
- Operate with integrity, honesty and respect.
Check out Town Team Movement for more info or view the Book of Doing that includes 100 examples of community-led actions delivered in WA.
The co-founders
Kardy Connect was formed by two local families who are passionate about giving back. They came together over a simple idea – let’s make it fun and easy for local people to contribute to their community.
